New Orleans, LA – New Orleans Police have ascertained additional information concerning a possible suspect vehicle that may have been used in last evening’s murder of a 71-year-old woman at #22 Warbler Street.
According to investigators, officers responded to a call of a shooting and when they arrived, discovered the victim lying on the ground suffering from what appeared to be at least one gunshot wound to the neck area. She was transported to Charity Hospital where she later died.
At this stage in the preliminary investigation detectives are uncertain as to what occurred; however, they do strongly suspect a robbery as several articles of personal items are missing. Detectives have information that a 4-door white Mitsubishi Gallant with tinted windows and a damaged left rear tail light may be involved in the offense.
