You will notice many new enhancements when upgrading to the new website and many new features are to come over the next 6-12 months. Some of these enhancements include the following:

  • You will be able to access all of your Bureau of Revenue tax accounts with a single login. This same login will also give you access to other City services as they become available.
  • The website contains the new 8060 consolidated tax form that combines the reporting that was previously done through the 8020 and 8040 tax forms. This form allows you to pay 5% sales, 4.5% sales, and parking tax on a single form.
  • Payments are now made directly and securely via the City’s online banking vendor, Chase.
  • Online payments are posted daily into our Revenue system for prompt and accurate tax credit.
  • Payment status is available online to monitor the status of pending ACH payments.

In coming months, the City of New Orleans will be offering additional features, including:

  • The ability to report on all payments made, whether through mail, walk-in, or online remittance.
  • The ability to complete and print tax forms for filing either through the mail or through walk-in.

We look forward to providing you with this new service and hope you find it helpful in your tax filing efforts. We also welcome comments on the new system as we continually strive to provide a more user-friendly, feature-rich environment for our taxpayers.
