Youth Training Opportunities

The Youth Career Development Project (YCDP) is a massive undertaking designed to enhance job and life skills of 1100 youth in this region. It will also provide a significant boost to their education. Functioning as a hurricane-recovery effort, this project will assist in rebuilding several communities in the Greater New Orleans area.
Two proven national organizations, YouthBuild and CorpsNetwork, will help lead the way by engaging employers, teachers, counselors, construction managers, and supervisors—so that our young people will have solid, meaningful employment and a future to build on. YouthBuild and CorpsNetwork will take steps to get court-involved youth back on the right track and ready for the job market.
