New Orleans, LA –Members of the New Orleans Police Department have arrested 18-year-old Kristy J. Gatlin and Domonique P. Smith and booked them with Accessory After The Fact To Second Degree Murder and have arrested Christopher Weathersby that is being held in Baton Rouge lock -Up for warrants of Second Degree Murder and three counts of Attempted Murder involving this incident.    The incident occurred March 1, 2009, in the 3000 block of Americus Street.    

New Orleans, LA – The New Orleans Police Department announced the arrest of 21-year-old Durrell Matthews wanted in connection with the murder of 22-year-old Oscar Veals.  The offense occurred July 1, 2006 at approximately 2:30 P.M., in the 2000 block of South Saratoga Street.

New Orleans, LA - This Morning, members of the New Orleans Police Department’s Fatality Section are investigation a vehicle hit and run accident that left a 39-year-old local female dead. The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of family members. The accident occurred at approximately 12:35 A.M., at Joliet and Hickory Streets. 

New Orleans, LA - Members of the New Orleans Police Department arrested 47-year-old Samuel Johnson wanted in connection with an automobile accident that left 43-year-old Tommie Felix, a 17 year veteran of the New Orleans Police Department dead.  The accident occurred May 20, 2008 at approximately 2:05 A.M., on the Judge Seeber Bridge at the Industrial Canal.

Superintendent of Police Warren J. Riley announced today, that members of the New Orleans Police Department’s Fatality Section completed their investigation into the automobile accident that took the life of Police Officer Tommie Felix a 17 year veteran of the New Orleans Police Department. The accident occurred May 20, 2008 at about 2:05 A.M. on the Judge Seeber Bridge.

New Orleans, LA -Members of the New Orleans Police Department are investigating an unclassified death of an unidentified female found in Lake Pontchartrain.  The body was found in the water at approximately 2:45 P.M., near the boat launch under the Sea Brook Bridge.
