The 2nd District coverage responsibilities include patrol of areas such as Uptown and Audubon. Audubon Park, Audubon Zoo, Tulane University and Loyola University are located in the 2nd Police District.

COPS2 is a citizen’s organization for police support in the 2nd District. Its mission is to support the 2nd District Law Enforcement Officers by providing equipment and essentials necessary to serve the community. To improve morale by recognizing the efforts of the officers and the jobs they perform on a daily basis. This group is open not just to 2nd District residents but to anyone who wants to join our crime fighting efforts.
