Administration and Support Bureau

The primary function of the Administration and Support Bureau is to serve the citizens of New Orleans and the members of the New Orleans Police Department by providing efficient and thorough support services.  These services range from the processing and dispatching citizen requests for assistance through the department’s communications system; the storage and retrieval of the reports that document incidents; the collection and examination of evidence; the processing, delivery and storage of the evidence;  the maintenance of facilities; vehicles, and emergency services necessary to conduct the department’s mission.
