The Algiers Dental Clinic re-opened in March 2006. Appointments can be made at the Algiers Dental Clinic on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. by calling 504-364-4021. Appointments can also be made by calling the main office at 504-658-2581. Please leave your name and contact number so your call can be returned.

Algiers Dental Clinic Services include:

• Examinations
• Cleanings
• X-Rays
• Fillings
• Crowns
• Extractions
• Relines
• Repairs
• Complete Dentures
• Partial Dentures

Free dental services are provided for persons:

• On Medicaid and under 21 years of age, or
• On LaChip and under the age of 19, or
• On Medicaid and pregnant between 21 – 59 years of age with a referral form from your OB Doctor, or
• On Medicaid, and over 21 years of age and need an upper or lower complete denture, reline or repair

All others must pay. Only money orders are accepted for payment. Initial fees will be given at the time the appointment is made. Treatment plans indicating the cost for the recommended care will be given following the initial exam. Persons living outside Orleans Parish will be charged slightly higher fees. Payment must be made at the time the service is provided. For lab procedures, half of the cost must be paid before the procedure is started. The balance for lab procedures must be paid on the date the lab case is delivered. For appointments and/or more information, call 364-4021 during clinic hours or 658-2581 and leave your name, number and best time to call. Someone will return your call.

A picture identification card is required of all patients 16 years of age or older.
