Student Experiences in the NOHD

Health professional, graduate and undergraduate students are invited to participate in our Student Experiences Program. The NOHD can provide unique and challenging experiences in finding in practical solutions to public health problems as our New Orleans recovers during the aftermath of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

In addition, this program may satisfy various requirements of your formal education as well as providing interesting and gratifying contributions as we rebuild. As an undergraduate, you can sharpen your skills by working with databases, excel and other software programs.

Examples of the areas that students have contributed are very broad and have various levels of depth and commitment. Examples of projects that students have contributed to include:

We encourage you to send your request and your resume to us for consideration. Any information on program requirements so that we can plan to meet your needs should be included with your resume.
