Online DBE Certification
The City of New Orleans' economic development strategy is focused on improving the business environment in order to generate social and economic capital. The core mission of this strategy is to serve as a catalyst for public and private initiatives that promote the long term economic development goals of the City - to reconstruct the structural underpinnings of the economy. Central to the Mayor's Office of Economic Development strategy is promoting the City's strong entrepreneurial climate by supporting small and medium size business development and specifically restructuring and improving the City's Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program (DBE). The DBE Program is a signature component of the City's economic development efforts. The Department is developing new economic development tools to expand existing business networks as well as develop new ones, increase the capacity of DBE certified contractors and businesses that are able to provide the City with goods and services, and level the playing field by creating a more equitable system to secure bonding and insurance to enhance DBE business development. » Click Here to Get Started
