Ceeon Quiett

Director of Communications

Ceeon Quiett was appointed Director of Communications by Mayor C. Ray Nagin in August 2006. In this position, Quiett is responsible for all media and public relations programming, community affairs initiatives and marketing for the Office of the Mayor and all agencies within New Orleans city government.

Quiett's range of professional experiences over the past 15 years has enhanced the knowledge and skills that under gird her versatility as a communications professional.

Prior to joining Mayor Nagin’s staff, she was Communications Director for the Office of the Mayor and the City of Detroit- a position Mayor Kwame M. Kilpatrick appointed her to in April 2004. She served as the Mayor's advisor, cabinet member and manager of strategic communications. Read more...
