Ambulance Crew
An ambulance crew consist of:
The ambulance is stocked with advanced cardiac life support medications and equipment. The ambulance is prepared to take care of all medical and traumatic emergencies |

Bike Team
The New Orleans EMS Bike team is a highly specialized medic. All N.O. EMS Bike Team members are:
- Certified by The International Police and Medic Mountain Bike Association (IPIMBA).
- Equipped to handle any medical or traumatic emergency until an ambulance arrives.
- Carry advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) medications and tools found on an ambulance including a cardiac monitor/defibrillator.
The bike team consists of:
- Two EMTs/Paramedics on EMS bikes specially equipped for outdoor festivals where there is substantial

Sprint Car
A sprint car consist of:
- One Paramedic
- The sprint car is stocked with the same advanced cardiac life support medications and equipment as the ambulance, with out the transport capability

Gator Ambulance
The Gator Ambulance is used to extract injured or sick people from areas inaccessible to standard ambulances. The Gator then takes the patient to a first-aid station or awaiting ambulance while providing care.
The Gator Ambulance is stocked with all of the advanced cardiac life support medications and equipment. The ambulance is prepared to take care of all medical and traumatic emergencies.

EMS Detail Price List(As per city ordinance)
Ambulance Crew
- $150.00 per unit
- + $75.00/hour per crew with a four hour minimum.
- More than three units requires an EMS Supervisor to be present on the detail.
- Supervisor rate is $75.00/hour with a four hour minimum.
Bike Team
- $75.00/hour for one bike team with a four hour minimum.
- Over three teams requires an EMS Supervisor to be present on the detail.
- Supervisor rate is $75.00/hour with a four hour minimum.
Gator Ambulance
- $75.00/hour for one Gator with a four hour minimum.
- Over three Gators requires an EMS Supervisor to be present on the detail.
- Supervisor rate is $75.00/hour with a four hour minimum.
Sprint Car Medic
- $100.00 per sprint car
- +$45.00/hour for one Paramedic with a four hour minimum.
An extra hour will be added: 30 minutes prior to requested time and 30 minutes after the release time.
The individual patient will be billed for the treatment and or transport to the hospital.
A disaster plan for the event must be filed with The New Orleans Office of Homeland Security 72 hours prior to the event. New Orleans EMS will provide this service for all events that we are handling. |
