Cannizzaro, Jr. District Attorney of New Orleans ~ State of Louisiana 1340 Poydras St. Suite 700 NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA 70112 (504) 522-2414 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE September 1, 2009 Armed Robbers Sentenced to 10 Years (New Orleans, LA) – Raydell Walker, 18, and Christopher Douglas, 17, both pled guilty as charged to one count of armed robbery this week, announced Orleans Parish District Attorney Leon A. Cannizzaro, Jr. On July 15, 2008, Walker and Douglas carjacked a male victim and stole his wallet at gunpoint. The incident took place at approximately 9:30 pm at the corner of Elysian Fields and North Galvez. Both defendants were sentenced to 10 years in prison today.
