Orleans Grand Jury Returns Indictments in Three 2009 Homicides

(New Orleans, LA) - An Orleans Parish Grand Jury returned indictments in three homicides that occurred between January 2009 and May 2009 on yesterday, announced Orleans Parish District Attorney Leon A. Cannizzaro, Jr. Herman Youngblood, male, 19, was charged with first degree of murder of Terrinique Winters. The incident took place on May 30, 2009 at approximately 9:45pm in the 2800 block of Mansfield Avenue. No bond was set for the defendant in this matter. Willie Woolridge, male, 18, and Jeremy Jackson, male, 22, were each charged with one count of second degree murder of Kirk Dugar. The offense occurred on January 5, 2009 at approximately 10:40pm in the 800 block of North Dupree Street. Bond was set at $1 million for each defendant. Chris Lewis, male, 20, and Kenneth Washington, male, 17, were each charged with one count of second degree murder of Joseph Leban, which occurred on May 22, 2009 at approximately 5:13pm in the 3300 block of Loyola Avenue. Bond was set at $750,000 for each defendant.
